This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the permitted use of all services provided by DevEdge Ltd, including shared hosting, VPS, VDS and dedicated servers, Agency Hosting (managed infrastructure), reseller services, and email and related services. This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP at all times, and DevEdge Ltd reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate services for violations of this Policy.
You agree that you will not use the services in breach of UK, EU, or international law; to infringe intellectual property rights; to commit fraud, phishing, impersonation, or deception; to distribute malware, ransomware, spyware or malicious code; or in any way that may damage, disrupt or impair our infrastructure or other customers. You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account credentials.
The following content is strictly prohibited on any DevEdge infrastructure: pornographic or sexually explicit material; hate speech or discriminatory content; violent or extremist material; harassment, abuse or defamation; child exploitation content, which will be reported to relevant authorities; copyright infringement or pirated material; and warez, cracks or IP circumvention tools. DevEdge Ltd reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether content breaches this section.
The following activities are prohibited across all service tiers unless expressly authorised in writing: cryptocurrency mining; torrent clients or peer-to-peer file sharing; proxy services or VPN tunnelling; IRC bots or daemons; automated scraping or crawling systems; gaming servers on shared infrastructure; High-Yield Investment Programs (HYIP); and hosting content promoted via spam. Any activity resulting in IP blacklisting, network abuse complaints, or reputational damage to DevEdge Ltd may result in immediate suspension.
You must comply with all applicable anti-spam legislation, including UK regulations. Prohibited email practices include sending unsolicited bulk email, email header spoofing, open mail relay configuration, hosting content advertised via spam, and using the services for mass unsolicited marketing campaigns. Accounts found sending spam may be suspended immediately without refund, and DevEdge Ltd may recover administrative costs arising from spam-related incidents.
DevEdge Ltd may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice, remove or disable access to offending content, restrict services, and report unlawful activity to relevant authorities. No refunds will be issued where suspension results from breach of this Policy.
This Acceptable Use Policy may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal or infrastructure changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current version.
