Why DevEdge

Built for agencies, not resold to them

Your clients' sites run on infrastructure provisioned and tuned for your portfolio, rather than a shared reseller pool.

Talk to us about Agency Hosting
01

Your own server

Each agency runs on its own isolated VPS, VDS or dedicated server environment, sized to suit the portfolio.

02

Isolated accounts

Client sites can be separated into individual hosting accounts, helping reduce cross-site impact and making each client environment easier to manage independently.

03

Tailored performance

We configure caching, CDN integration and resource allocation around the requirements of your client portfolio.

04

High-speed hardware

AMD Ryzen processors, DDR5 memory and NVMe storage provide a strong foundation for responsive WordPress and WooCommerce workloads.

05

Domain management

Host client domains directly with us, with domain registration and DNS management in one place.

06

WordPress migration

One-click WordPress installs, with managed migrations available when moving individual sites or larger client portfolios across.

The stack

Built on a proven hosting stack

Each agency environment is provisioned on a managed hosting stack selected for the requirements of the portfolio, with monitoring, security and account isolation built in.

Web server

LiteSpeed Enterprise

LiteSpeed with LSCache for high-performance WordPress and WooCommerce hosting.

Security

Server security

Security is provided through Imunify360 or cPGuard depending on the hosting environment, with malware scanning, threat detection and automated protection.

Security

Cloudflare

CDN, DNS and WAF protection provide an additional security and performance layer in front of client websites.

Control panel

cPanel

A familiar per-client interface for files, email, databases and DNS.

Multi-account

WHM

One dashboard to create and manage every client hosting account and monitor the server.

Platform

CloudLinux

Per-account resource controls help limit the impact one busy client site can have on the rest of the portfolio.

01

JetBackup

02

Per-site hourly backups

Hourly off-server backups for higher-priority or frequently changing websites where a shorter recovery window is required.

05

Migration included

Moving your portfolio across

Migration of standard client websites is included. We work through the portfolio in planned batches, testing each site before DNS changes to minimise disruption and reduce the workload on your team.

01

Portfolio review

We review the websites you currently host, including site size, traffic, plugins, stores and resource requirements, then size the new environment around the portfolio.

02

Server build

Your environment is provisioned and configured, with client hosting accounts, DNS requirements and email setup prepared before migration begins.

03

Batch migration

Sites are moved in batches and tested on temporary URLs before DNS changes. Where possible, the existing hosting remains active during the transition period.

04

Handover

You receive the agreed management access, individual client account logins and a single DevEdge point of contact. Automated monitoring continues after migration, with the environment reviewed during the initial transition period.

Portfolio migrations are scoped before onboarding. Standard WordPress migrations are included, while unusually complex migrations, large mail moves or specialist application migrations may require additional work, which will always be agreed in advance.

DevEdge AI Assistant Online • Instant answers

Ask questions about our services, pricing, hosting and how we work.

Can we resell the hosting to our clients?

Yes. Agency Hosting is designed so you can include hosting within your own client packages and set your own pricing. DevEdge invoices your agency, while the commercial relationship with your client remains yours.

Is the hosting white-label?

Yes. White-label nameservers and client-facing hosting accounts can be configured so the service sits behind your agency brand. DevEdge does not contact your clients directly unless you ask us to.

Do you charge for migrations?

Standard WordPress portfolio migrations are included as part of onboarding. More complex migrations, large email moves or specialist applications may require additional work, which will always be scoped and agreed with you first.

How many websites can we actually host?

It depends on the complexity, traffic and workload of the portfolio. The figures shown on our plans are indicative capacity guidance rather than hard guarantees. We size the environment around your actual mix of brochure sites, WooCommerce stores, membership sites and other workloads.

What happens if one client outgrows the server?

We can increase resources, move the client to a more appropriate environment or scale the wider agency infrastructure where required. Client accounts are separated so a heavier workload can be managed without unnecessarily disrupting the rest of the portfolio.

Who do our clients contact for support?

Normally, your clients contact you and you contact DevEdge for hosting support. We work behind the scenes as your infrastructure partner. If you want a different support arrangement, we can discuss that separately.

Are our client websites isolated from each other?

Yes. Client websites can be separated into individual hosting accounts, with resource controls and account-level isolation helping reduce cross-site impact and making each environment easier to manage independently.

Do we get WHM and cPanel access?

Yes, where included with your selected environment. WHM provides agency-level account management, while individual clients can be given their own cPanel access if required. Access levels can be configured around how you want to manage your portfolio.

Can we host WooCommerce and high-traffic websites?

Yes. Agency Hosting can support WooCommerce, membership and other dynamic websites, but heavier workloads may need more resources than standard brochure sites. We’ll size the environment around the portfolio and recommend VPS, VDS or dedicated infrastructure where appropriate.

Can we upgrade as our agency grows?

Yes. Agency Hosting is designed to scale with your portfolio. Resources can be increased and larger VPS, VDS, dedicated or cloud infrastructure is available as your requirements grow.

Are backups included?

Yes. Daily off-server backups are included as standard, with additional backup options available for clients that need shorter recovery windows or more advanced restore access.

What security is included?

Agency environments include server-level security, malware protection, hosting firewall controls and Cloudflare protection where configured. The exact security stack may use technologies such as Imunify360 or cPGuard depending on the environment.

Is email hosting included?

Yes. Domain email hosting is available within the agency environment, subject to the storage, sending and fair-use limits of the service. Microsoft 365 and other dedicated business email solutions can also be provided separately.

Do you manage WordPress updates for every client website?

Not as part of Agency Hosting alone. Agency Hosting covers the infrastructure, including the server, backups, security, caching and monitoring. WordPress core, plugin and theme updates can be handled through a Website Support arrangement or managed by your own team.

What is the contract term?

Agency Hosting is provided on a 12-month rolling contract unless otherwise agreed in writing, with monthly or annual payment options available. Full cancellation and renewal terms are set out in our Hosting Terms & Conditions.

Can we keep full control of our client accounts?

Yes. Your agency remains in control of the client relationship, hosting structure and account access. We manage the underlying infrastructure while you decide how much access each client receives.
