How it works

How it works

Three phases, all managed through you. We don't contact your client directly unless you've specifically asked us to.

01

Brief & scope

You share the client brief. We scope the work around your requirements and come back with an agreed price and timeline you can put in front of your client.

02

Delivery

Design and development handled end to end, reviewed with you on staging before anything reaches your client.

03

Ongoing support

We stay behind the scenes for updates, fixes and future phases. Many partners resell a support plan as their own care package.

Client-facing documentation: Under your brand
Admin login screen and system emails: In your agency's name

Will my client know DevEdge is involved?

Not unless you want them to. We work behind the scenes under your brand, with staging environments, documentation and communications kept unbranded or prepared in your agency's name where appropriate. We won't contact your client directly unless you've specifically asked us to.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We're happy to work under your NDA where required and treat project details, client information and commercially sensitive material as confidential. If you don't already have an NDA in place, we can still work under the confidentiality provisions agreed for the project.

Who invoices the client?

You do. DevEdge works directly with your agency and invoices you for the agreed work. Your relationship with the end client, including what you charge and how you structure your pricing, remains entirely yours.

Can we set our own price for the client?

Yes. We provide you with an agreed price for our work and you decide what you charge your client. This gives you complete control over your margin, pricing structure and commercial relationship.

What if I only need help with one project?

That's absolutely fine. There's no requirement to commit to retained capacity or an ongoing arrangement. We can work with you on a single project, provide additional capacity when your team is busy, or become an ongoing development partner as your requirements grow.

Can you join calls with our client?

Yes, if you'd like us to. We can join meetings as part of your delivery team and follow the communication arrangements agreed with your agency. Alternatively, everything can remain entirely between DevEdge and your team, with you handling all client communication.

Can you work from our designs and development standards?

Yes. We can work from supplied Figma designs, wireframes, design systems and technical specifications, as well as follow agreed development conventions and project workflows. We'll review what you've provided before development begins and flag anything that may need clarification or adjustment.

How do you handle feedback and revisions?

Feedback normally comes through your agency so you remain in control of the client relationship. We'll work through agreed revisions during the project and keep changes organised through the agreed workflow. Requests that materially change the original scope will be discussed with you before additional work is carried out.

Who handles the website after launch?

That can be you or us. We can hand the completed website back to your team, or provide ongoing maintenance and technical support behind the scenes. Support can also be structured so your agency resells it to the client as part of your own care or maintenance service.

What do you need to quote a project?

Send us as much of the brief as you have, including the required pages, functionality, designs or wireframes, integrations, content requirements and preferred timescale. We'll review the scope, ask any necessary technical questions and provide an agreed price and delivery timeframe before work begins.
